Important Information Concerning I-40 Through Knoxville
As of 5/1/08, I-40 through Downtown Knoxville will be closed fourteen months for reconstruction.
Thru traffic on I-40 will be rerouted to I-640 and I-275. I-40 Eastbound will be closed just East of
James White Parkway (Exit 388A). I-40 Westbound will be closed just West of Hall of Fame Drive (Exit 389).
